Now that I have your attention…

As an illustrator I take a lot of inspiration from Animals, colours and movies. These topics give me ideas and make creating fun for me. Working analogue is also important to me, I love to work hands on and really feel the materials. Techniques like lino speak to me because of that. But with a graphic design degree I can also loose myself in the Adobe programs. I love to make things visually appealing or just plain readable. Making everything be neat and clear is a bit of an obsession for me. Here also comes in the organizing part of me. I need to have a clear schedule and planning to get going with an assignment. So it’s not rare to see me updating my checklist.

My interest lies in editorial design, keeping up with the news is important to me and I think it should be for everyone. Making editorial illustrations for people who need help understanding a text is what I love to do. At the end of the day I just want to be surrounded by art supplies and be able to create a visual that tells a story or takes one to the next level.
